This Privacy Policy applies to personal information about you that we collect, use and otherwise process via airBaltic Peer Support Programme (BTPSP).
The purpose of this Privacy Policy is to provide you with information on how airBaltic Peer Support Programme process your personal data.
The Controller of data processing described in the Privacy Policy is Air Baltic Corporation AS, registration number: 40003245752, legal address: Marupes nov., Lidosta “Riga”, Tehnikas iela 3, LV-1053, home page www.airbaltic.com. We always protect your information and regularly improve this Privacy Policy. We will inform you about any changes to the Privacy Policy by amending the publication date on this website.

This Privacy Policy applies to personal data processing carried out by airBaltic Peer Support Programme. It complies with all the terms and conditions described in general airBaltic Privacy Policy.
- What is personal information?
Personal information is information about you that is personally identifiable such as your name, address, email address, or phone number as well as other information that may not otherwise be publicly available.
- How do we collect information about you?
We collect information about you in the following ways:
- You visit BTPSP website and / or enter information into it;
- You talk with our voluntary Peer Supporter on the phone or contact them by email or text message;
- You communicate with our representatives via BTPSP official email;
- Your friend, colleague or family member has visited BTPSP website and entered information about you into it.
- What information we collect about you and why?
Personal information will be collected by airBaltic using the online contact form of the BTPSP website to us to provide the required services. Additional information will be collected by your Peer Supporter for statistical reasons.
We may collect the following categories of personal data:
- Basic data (e.g., name, surname, gender, age);
- Contact data (e.g., email, phone number);
- Communication data (e.g., language, communication channel, consents, claims, opinion etc.);
- Special category data (e.g., your reason for contacting the programme, any additional information you provide during the interaction with your volunteer Peer Supporter);
- Medical data (e.g., diagnosis, medical concerns that you share with your volunteer Peer Supporter).
We process your data for the following purposes and based on the following legal ground:
- Conclusion and fulfilment of agreement (e.g., providing you with Peer Support assistance);
- Monitoring of fulfilment of the agreement (e.g., if your case has been handled appropriately by our volunteer Peer Supporter, if we have to escalate the your case);
- Providing safety of aviation and individuals (your mental wellbeing or stress that you are experiencing at some point might affect your ability to provide safe execution of your tasks; if we detect a ‘red flag’ we will work with you and comply with regulations to ensure safe operation of the airBaltic);
- Statistic and analytical services of the BTPSP work and employee mental wellbeing.
- Why do we use cookies?
We use cookies to identify when you visit BTPSP’s website to build up a demographic profile. Using cookies means we can tell how many people per month are accessing the site and which pages are visited most often. A cookie is a small piece of information sent to your web browser by a web server and can only be read by the server that gave it to you. It cannot be executed as code or used to deliver viruses to your computer.

- Who will have access to personal information?
Initially, your personal information will be available only to the voluntary Peer Supporter who will cover your case, as well as Mental Health Specialist.
We do not rent, sell or share personal information about you with other people or non-affiliated organisations except under any of the following circumstances:
- In response to subpoenas, court orders, or as otherwise required by legal process, or to establish or exercise our legal rights or defend against legal claims;
- We believe it is necessary to share information for us or the appropriate authorities to investigate, prevent or act regarding suspected illegal or fraudulent activities, potential threat to personal or physical safety, violations of our terms of use or as otherwise may be required by law.
- Feedback
With your consent, we may contact you requesting feedback on your experience using BTPSP.
You will have given us consent to do so when you submitted your request for a peer to contact you and you sent us your contact details.
You will have the option of remaining anonymous in completing the feedback and participation is optional.
While we have your details in order to send you the feedback link, we have no way of identifying who returns the feedback unless you chose to identify yourself in the feedback form.
- Links
The site contains links to affiliated websites and other information related services. This Privacy Policy does not apply to such linked third-party websites and services.
- Notification of changes
By using this site, you consent to this Privacy Policy. If this policy is changed or updated in any material sense whether because of a change in the law or our internal policy, or both, we will publish a notice of the same on this site.
- Policy review
The Policy will be subject to review whenever any relevant technological or regulatory changes occur and will, as a minimum, be formally reviewed on an annual basis.
Terms and Conditions
- You understand that your contact request is not an emergency.
- Your confidentiality is our main priority and we will protect it to the highest degree.*
- This is airBaltic Peer Support Programme (BTPSP) run by trained volunteer Peer Supporters. They are here to provide support from colleague to colleague; if necessary, they can advise you on external resources and professionals.
- The voluntary Peer Supporter will not give you advice, make decisions instead of you or intervene on your behalf. They are here to support you and guide you through the process of finding your own solutions to the situation.
- Consequently, volunteer Peer Supporters, airBaltic Peer Support Programme or airBaltic cannot be held responsible for decisions or actions that you may take following the contact with BTPSP.
- You feedback is important to us to continuously learn and improve our service to you. Consequently, we may ask you for your feedback after you have finished using our service. Giving a feedback is your free choice.
* The only exception to this is if you tell us that either you or someone else is in imminent danger, in which case we are obliged to act on the information – and this may include waiving your confidentiality. In this extremely rare event, we will always aim to work with you to keep you and others safe.
